Our team of highly skilled and innovative dentists is made up of Dr Punit Shah [Principal Dentist and Specialist in Prosthodontics], Dr Priya Shah [Principal General Dentist], Dr Howard Moseley [Orthodontist], Dr Conor Durack [Specialist interest in Endodontics] and Dr Ali Abdellatif [Implantologist]. Between us, we have acquired many years of experience to deal with simple as well as complex dental needs. All our dentists undertake regular post-graduate training to ensure that we undertake best practice.

Dr. Punit Shah
Congratulations to Dr Punit Shah for receiving the honour of the highly commended dentist of the year at the dental awards 2010. He is one of the principal dentists of the practice. Punit graduated from the University of Manchester in 2000 with BSc [Hons] and BDS [Hons]. He gained his MFDS RCS [Edin] in 2003. After completion of vocational training, he worked in Restorative Dentistry posts at Leeds Dental Hospital and Guys, King’s and St Thomas’ Dental Institute. Punit has completed his 4-year Specialist Training at the renowned Guys, King’s and St Thomas’ Dental Institute and is now an accredited Specialist in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics (This is the field of dentistry relating to rebuilding natural teeth and restoring missing teeth with prosthetic replacements.) His specialist interest is in the area of toothwear and implant dentistry.

Dr Priya Shah
Priya is the other principal dentist at the practice. She graduated in 2002 from the Guys, King’s and St Thomas’ Dental Institute. Priya completed her vocational training in Ipswich and then joined the team at St Georges Hospital, Tooting as a Senior House officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Priya is dedicated to providing the best of both cosmetic and preventive dentistry. Her caring and gentle ways will put the most phobic dental patients at ease. She now divides her time between working part-time at the practice and looking after her two little boys, Dillan and Niyam.

Dr. Ali Abdellatif
Ali is our dedicated Implantologist and Oral Surgeon. He graduated with BDS in 1998 and obtained his MFDS RCS [Glasgow] in 2002. Ali has worked in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Basildon and Southend Hospitals and also at the Manchester Royal Infirmary. He was a part-time lecturer and demonstrator at the Oral Surgery Department at King’s College Hospital prior to moving into practice. Ali has undertaken an extensive 2 year MSc Implant Dentistry course at the Guys, King’s and St Thomas’ Dental Institute.

Dr Howard Moseley
Howard is our Orthodontist. He graduated from Leeds in 1985 and then completed specialist Orthodontic training in 1993. Howard was awarded the British Orthodontic Society Young Specialist Award in 1997 for clinical expertise. At present, Howard is also a Consultant Orthodontist at the Watford General Hospital and Eastman Dental Institute. With extensive experience in hospital and specialist practice, he is able to offer a comprehensive assessment and treatment service for both children and adults.

Dr Conor Durack
Conor is our Endodontist. He graduated with BDS in 2001 from Cork, Ireland. Thereafter, he worked in practice in both England and Australia. He gained his MFDS RCS in 2007. At present, Conor is a Specialist Registrar at the Guys, King's and St Thomas' Dental Institute and is undergoing the 4-year MClinDent in Endodontics {root canal treatment} that would grant him specialist status. He is also an active member of the British and European Endodontic Societies. Conor has already undergone intensive training in Endodontics and his invaluable knowledge and understanding of this area of dentistry provides excellent care for his patients.

Dr Vishal Patel
Vishal is the latest dentist to join the team. He graduated with BDS from Guys, Kings and St Thomas’ dental institute in 2006. Thereafter, he completed his vocational training in East Sussex prior to joining the practice as a dental associate. As well as working as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at St  Georges Hospital, Vishal also completed part of the post-graduate MJDF examinations. At present, he divides his time between working at the practice and also providing Oral Surgery services at St Georges Hospital in Tooting. His modest and caring nature wins over many nervous patients. He regularly attends update courses and has maintained his interest in implant dentistry. He is a keen traveller, seen much of Central and South America, South East Asia and Eastern Europe.

Hygienists
Our hygienist Miss Sara Fretas provides invaluable support to our dentists. Our hygienist is very much appreciated by our patients for her gentle and caring approach. She provides advice and guidance on oral hygiene methods to help keep gums healthy, prevent gum disease and promote fresh breath.

Our friendly support staff include our dental nurses and receptionists without whom our team would not be complete. We are proud of the care and attention they show to our patients. Their impressive range of skills and abilities is a great credit to them and invaluable to our practice.
